my scooby days could be over.....
 
......for a while anyway.

Car at the moment is sat in a layby completely dead!!!!! Think it is about time to get shot of the car, just seems like i am flogging a dead horse :( :cry:

obviously, as long as you will still have me, i will still attend the meetings...as you are such a great bunch....just wont be in a scoob :(

yep at 6am this morning!!! not exactly the warmest time of the day to be standing around in a layby lol.....

am gonna have it looked at over the weekend, and if it is serious then she is gonna have to go!!!

But on the plus side at least i can get another one and start all over again :D:D

Shame, I know what you mean about cold mornings. I always keep a blanket in the boot just in case I break down and need to keep warm (and also for the rare chance I might bump into Kylie and she's feeling frisky!)

Sorry to hear that mate. Fan Belt was squealing a little when you left, sure your battery is getting charged properly!?!

Alex....that's the alternator belt, that needs changing...

am hoping it's something to do with the alternator, fingers crossed.

Yeah I know I work in FEAD Front End Accessory Drive :ponder2:

Cranks pulley, AC compressor, water pump, tensioner, pulleys, Belt etc Not the fan as they are electronically controlled now :D

Sorry just a common term (wrongly used these days) well spotted! :D

Hope you get it sorted soon...... :D

ok, i have had time to look at the car this morning and i am happy to say it's nothing major.....phhheeeewwww. Looking like all i need is a new alternator belt, as this has been completely shredded.

right having a nightmare trying to get hold of a belt today, the only one i can get at the mo is 3mm longer than the official lenght one, does anyone know if this extra 3mm would make a difference?????
