Maybe we could interest the troops from further afield with 'Airbourne 2001, 16th - 19th August' on Eastbourne Seafront.
Although I don't know were we would park all the Scoobs (Any ideas, from the Eastbourne Possie). If you havn't been before it's a great 'FREE' day out with many attractions/stands & stalls, along with flying all day with Aerobatics and Fast Jet's (Red Arrows, Tornado, Jaguar, Harrier, F16 etc.. etc..) Oh! and hopefully no-one will ditch it in the Sea this year. Maybe we could all park up Beachy Head (Yes there is a pub there), although nowaday's it is Pay & Display and I'm not sure what sort of view u get of the Air-display, as I have only ever watched it from the beach (the fitter ones could walk down to the seafront from Beachy Head, although the walk back may be a struggle). BTT - Anyone interested ?
I believe that Sunday 19th was mentioned at the recent Pease Pottage Meet. [This message has been edited by Scott.T (edited 04 July 2001).] |
Scott,
We're definitely up for this. I'll hopefully be able to get some of the guys from down our way along as well. Kim & Dom http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif |
Scott
I'm afraid I won't now be able to make it on the 19th http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif. I had it all planned...on the 18th August was going to Chelsea v Newcastle and then U2 at Earls Court, followed by Eastbourne on the Sunday. Unfortunately this week Sky have chosen the CFC v Newcastle game for their pay-per-view and the game has been moved to the Sunday http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/mad.gif. Hope to see you at another meet soon. Mark |
I'am working (rare I know), but will see what I can do. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif> http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif?
