Hello all,

I'm Jason Porter from i-club.com in the US, I'm wondering if anyone in the London area would like to show an American chap around a few twisties and throw back a pint or three!

I'm visiting the UK on business until the 24th, I'm working for IBM at Heathrow. Call me on my cell if you'd like to meet up, it's ############. I'm staying at the Meridien Excelsior on Bath road near Heathrow.

I know John Felstead and Ian C. from the US bulletin board, are you guys in the London area?

Anyway, post here and/or ring me if you'd like to have a pint one night this week, or if anybody'd like to meet up on Saturday the 23rd, as I should be off then.

Cheers!

Still no word from Harj... Thanks though rsquire!

What's the word on next Saturday? Where is John Felstead located? I seem to remember him promising me a ride in his Westie one night on chat... http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif Hehehehe

I can catch a train or a bus out of town if anybody wants to meet up within an hour's distance or so from Heathrow.

...Ian that wouldn't be an S3 would it? If you're free around 1 we could do lunch. I'm in Terminal 1. Thanks!

Sorry for the confusion, it should be sorted out now.

Hi Jason

Are you in the UK now. I live only 10 mins from Heathrow. I have some friends coming over today (Sunday) for Lunch, but would be free at the end of the day to take you for a blast/Beer. I have a fairly rare car. MY00 Legacy B4 RSK.

Excellent!

Yes, I'm in the UK. I'm staying at the Le Meridien Hotel on Bath road. Feel free to ring me on the mobile and we'll meet up. I'm finished at Heathrow today at 5pm. I'd love to see the B4!

I think I saw a B4 today on Bath Road? Dark blue? Looked similar to the US Legacy GT. I wasn't close enough to hear the turbo whine so I couldn't tell which it was.

Thanks...

Thanks Jonathan, the B4 was great fun. You Brits are damn lucky you can get these kind of cars. We don't get **** in the US except for the new gen WRX and a few other rarities.

Good to meet you, I hope the wife didn't abuse you too badly! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif I'll give you a ring the next time I'm in the UK.

Hi Porter & Brian

No problems, I enjoyed showing you around. It was great to see you could keep up with the british sense of humour !!.

I hope you survive the airport - poor Bast***s

See Ya

P.s My wife did not have a go, until see looked over my shoulder this evening and read your post !!!!! I am in big trouble now. I'll take a leaf out of Brians book and take some photo's. If only life was that easy !!
