I am considering getting a set of aluminium (or similar) pedals for my brand new Scoob. I don't want those nasty/cheap looking Spa**o things you can buy in Halford etc. Does anyone have any recomendations & approx price ?

Cheers,
Steve

I have Momo pedals from Scoobysport which look great and also have little rubber pads for grip when it's wet. Sorry can't remember how much they cost but they are also easy to fit.

I don't want to sound too dense but how these little puppies actually fit onto the existing pedals? Obviously the rubber covers come off the existing ones but do the new ones slot on, bolt on or what?

Clutch pedal and Brake pedal rubbers come off small plate at the back and new front four small allen screws and tighten together. Loud pedal retains rubber.

I found that if you drill the original pedals and bolt the new set over them (chamfered allen head 5-6mm)normaly the holes drilled in the new set are already chamfered.caues you don't want them slipping off.also i would recommend buying cover sets with some kind of rubber grips as the plan metal tends to be slippery in the wet.

Where can you find a picture/buy the Momo units?

Hi Stevie

I don`t thing that Sparco makes only cheap looking pedals. They do thick and crossdrilled with rubber inserts too. Cca 5mm thick.

I got mine from 'Dread' in Milton Keynes, who are MOMO agents.
I'll post a picci asap.

Stef.
