avi - vcd conversion
 

can anyone tell me whats the best way of converting an avi file to mpeg for burning to vcd?

I've downbloaded a couple of car vids and would like to be able to play them on my dvd player

I use Nero to burn CDs. An if you select "Video CD" in Nero it will do it automatically for you

aiisoft do a nice program, do a search on here for a recent thread started by jack on a similar topic, theres lots of info on there.

I use cucusoft avi to DVD. Does avi (DIVX, XVID also) to Mpeg-1 or 2.
Nero version 6 onwards has something called Nero Vision express which has a nice wizard for you to convert them to DVD with menus.
