hi all, i had a little play with one the other night on a privert part of tyremac that i know of ;-)

how fast are they ment to be? i didnt really gain on him only a little, and we were both givin it some welly, the m3 idi seam to take the corners well, and on the stright i woz only just catchin him up

ive got a my99 sti

Mate - you need to type proper words and spell them correctly to make it easy to read. M3's are quick if it was a E46, you were lucky basically.

The E36 you should have, however TOp end on Any M3 is pretty evil.
The E46 will rip most car apart, however depending on what your running most of us will have em upto 130 then they WILL leave you.
I have 4 M3s out of my mates, 3 are E46 and only one E36. remember the E46 runs 343BHP to the rear wheels.
I kill them all to around 130 but after that all i do is watch em go past (E46 i mean)
im running 345bhp 0-60 4.2. 1/4 mile 12.9

my scoob is prety stardard, have got a vta dv, and turbo back zorst.

the m3 was a P reg, it wasnt that big in siza about the same as a astra.

not sure on the excat model soz, it fun with it, but i could tell he/she was the better driver

your lucky mate! that would be the e36. now they come in the 3.0 or the EVO 3.2 I think 280ish and 290ish bhp repectivly.
they are still very nippey

I think you will find they are 286 and 321 respectively and i have a TSL 333 STI Wagon and i have yet to find any model M3 that can live with it.

The M3 you raced like others have said was the E36. If it was the M3 Evo it will be hard for you to beat as they come with 321 BHP. Ive got a M3 Evo at the moment and a STi Type R thats slightly modded so I can talk from experience, and with a good driver behind a BM wheel you'll struggle with him off the lights and even more mid range as thats where the 3.2 engine is realy good...

I got an M3 Evo...3.2L...qucik, though i feel my 316bhp UK Scooby is quicker..though the BM just feels so much smoother and i kinda miss the puch from the Turbo...though the Vanos in the M3 is quite cool... ;)

the fasterst m3 pulls 5.7 0-60 i think! (i dont no all the figures) but in comparison im gettin mid 4s so that the gap and you will build a nice gap on m3s however when they plug 4th gear its all over as they will make that gap up in no time, and from there on its all over! once the hit the 6th BYE BYE 4wd cars!!!!!
as i said i am talking from experience i have many mate with them, and only one is a good driver and still the power of the m3 on a long streatch is unbeatable by lightly modded 4wd cars!

air fields mate! we took 2 m3s, one Cerbera, 2 pulsars 1 evo8 fq330 1 scooby and a gt4 up.
then raced the whole day!! great fun nice top end speeds.
guess who killed everyone?

the cerbera would have left you all for dead.

all this M3 vs scooby stuff is silly. the better driver would win. if you want to go on the same driver route an M3 is arguably the faster car

or maybe the new RS4!!!!
