Pod gauge question help

Hi,

I'm looking to purchase two gauges for my WRX03 - an oil pressure gauge and a boost gauge.

Can anyone offer some advise on what types to buy as they seems to be so many different type using different units of measurement etc.

Also, are the above to gauges easy to fit?

Thanks

One word Defi's:thumb:

Generally most people go for boost, oil pressure and oil temp.

Fitting is straight forward if you know your your way around a Scoob engine and are handy with spanners.

Oil temp/pressure can be mounted on the filter using a sandwich type plate adaptor. Or the oil temp can be placed just above the No 3 Cylinder with an adaptor, oil pressure replaces the original useless sensors under the alternator.

Boost can be easily tapped into the dump valve.

Electrics is up to you, 4 wires usually.

Thanks for the feedback sounds pretty striaght forward for boost - but are you indicating the oil filter has got to come off to allow oil pressure gauge installation :freak3:

Why are Defi gauges the preferred item by the way? I've seen TIM gauges and others for sale and they seem pretty good.

Thanks
