03 wrx facia?
 
wanna change my 03 facia so i can fit a normal stereo, where can i get an adaptor plate from?

FAQ has details of the forester pocket/flap thing you can use to block up the lower half of the double DIN hole, if that's any help.

To replace the standard double din to single din you need a dash cubby hole, or Forester pocket.
These match the dash and have a push flap on the front to blend in.
To fit them the original stereo mounting bracket usually have to be drilled with 2 holes on each side.

I followed Ru's guides in the FAQs, hunted around the net for a bit and asked a few local Car Audio shops for advice. After that I managed to do this in my MY04...

Did you need to get an aerial convertor as well or did the standard one fit ok?

as above bought one from subaru dealers less than £14 inc vat .. fantastic price and quality... recomended
