Toby C 11 October 2000 08:13 AM

Richard,

Shouldn't be a problem.
Not TOO sure on that area, but I'll do my best.

If anybody knows that area they can take over. (Don't what to disappoint you lot).

Toby

Rob W 11 October 2000 10:41 AM

Yeah that sound's cool!
Any others from N.London fancy a bit of a convoy http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

GMAY 11 October 2000 01:08 PM

Her in doors has cried wolf, so it's just me now...

Grahame

Richard Gledhill 12 October 2000 11:17 AM

Hi wacko...

Unlucky! I'd rather not change the date now as quite a few people have said they're coming along. Perhaps we can do another one sometimes after work in Royston or nearby? There seem to be a few of us that work in that area. Why not start a new thread suggesting a mid-week one? I notice Grahame's suggesting next Thursday in Fen Ditton (N Cambridge) if you're interested.

In terms of timing - if we aim to be there about 12 to get food ordered by 12:30, we will probably be there till about 2pm, after the "look at everyone else's car" bit after lunch http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif Probably go for a ride around when everyone's here, so we can wait for you.

Cheers
Richard

AllanB 12 October 2000 07:33 PM

Rob, should be up for this. Let me know if you want to meet up at the Robin Hood as normal then convoy up

AllanB

Rob W 13 October 2000 09:55 PM

Allan, sounds good normal meeting place is cool for me.
It will probally take about 45min-1hr to get there. Shall we meet about 10.45am?
Let me know mate
cheers
Rob

AllanB 14 October 2000 08:09 AM

Yep sounds cool to me Rob. Might see you at the Aylesbury meet tonight if I can make it.

Sorry Richard, Can't make it on Sunday. Family issue's.

If your stuck for a route, I can suggest one.

Once again Sorry.

Toby

Richard Gledhill 18 October 2000 09:18 PM

Sorry to hear that Toby... hope nothing serious.

If you've got anywhere working out a route, let me know, otherwise I'll have a stab myself.

Cheers
Richard

Richard Gledhill 19 October 2000 02:09 PM

Right, that's it - it's booked for 12 people eating at 12 noon. I'll plot the drive-around tomorrow and get it photocopied in time for the meal on Sunday.

See you there!

Richard

GMAY 19 October 2000 02:21 PM

Great work Rich...I can smell the roast beef and yorkshire pud already!

See you on Sunday (pity you can't make our Cambridge meet tonite).

Grahame

Rob W 19 October 2000 06:11 PM

Hi Rich,
See you there, we might have a couple more with us so it should be cool! maybe an evo or two. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif
We will order or own so don't book any more seats just in case. How big is the route?
See you sunday http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif
Rob

Richard Gledhill 20 October 2000 09:09 AM

Grahame, hope last night went ok - I was at a friend's gig in Cambridge.

RobW - great, the more the merrier! I'll have a Beemer friend along who's seen the light and wants to defect.. so everyone be nice! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif Don't know how long the drive-around will be, I haven't done it yet http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif I'm intending on making it circular (i.e. end up back in Barrington), probably about 50 miles with a stop-over half-way at another pub for regrouping. Does that sound ok?

Cheers
Richard

GMAY 20 October 2000 01:50 PM

Sounds good to me! As an idea for re-grouping, I wonder if we can park at the Duxford Air museum - plenty of open grass in their car parks!! Opens 10 till 6; £7.40 to go in.

Grahame

Richard Gledhill 20 October 2000 03:41 PM

£7.40 is a bit much to pay to park for half an hour http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

Are you certain we can park before the entrance bit?

Richard

Dave T-S 20 October 2000 08:42 PM

Richard
I'm glad you said that before me - cos i'm not a tight git but like to get value for money!! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

Rikki23 21 October 2000 07:30 PM
