South Mimms is on the junction where the A1 meets the M25.

there has got to be more than three of us In north london come on!

Make that 2 of you - I'm west London, and RichR and richards are around the Kingston area - so I'm in the middle of you all. If you want a big convoy, somewhere near the M40 M25 junction may be the best idea, since I assume we want the M40 to get there - fairly big assumption given that I only know the airfield is somewhere in oxfordshire.

I'm in West London too, and would be happy to meet up beforehand.

Coming from W2, so let me know if you are close and want to catch up.

Chu, do you know that there's a services there? If so, that would be good, otherwise I'd just look for a suitable place to stop, as there aren't any obvious services stations around the M40.

Colin, I can make 8:30, but the others may not be able to - you won't be last if we in convoy!

Junction 2 of M40 is good for me, but how about 8:30am rather than 9am as I don't want to arrive last, especially after arranging the day !!!

Same here a top day, thanks to the organizers etc..

Tyres completely mangalled though, the car didn't feel the same around the M25 for its second time today.
