Unmarked Police WRX West Sussex ?
 

My mother in law said she was in Copthorne last week and going to an RTC was 2 police in a silver grey WRX with blue strobes in the grill and rear window. I told her it was probably their Evo mr 260 and she was quite anoyed saying it was a scoob as she saw the SUBARU letters on the boot and it 'didn't have a silly wing like mine' so not an STI then ;)
Has anyone heard of this ?

fire service have a blue blob eye up this way. i was told the police don't use them as they can't fill the boot with donuts and arrest people as well (due to the weight).

seen the evo loads on the a23 last time was friday they had some fella in a naff chavalier between pease pottage and 10a not seen the scoob yet but if its about i'll see it i'm up and down the a23 all day in my truck and always lookin for scoobs

What truck are you in M8, and i'll look out for you, so if you see a blue WRX waving you wont think i'm mad!!.

Guys, this is correct. I've seen the silver WRX sitting at the top of the Pease Pottage junction several times, didn't see any STi badging as far as i recall.....once after it had pulled a Vauxhall Nova full of young kids....but that's fair game for them I guess.

Scoobies are also used in Hampshire area...often seen an unmarked dark green police scooby on the A303.

there used to be 1 on the A1 around jct 24 which i had seen a few times did not wave as i had mobile in hand
