It must be getting on for a month since the last meet at The Plough, Fen Ditton. Anyone fancy doing it again this month? (preferably Monday or Thursday).

Ian G, I assume your contract is coming to an end , so maybe this could be your farewell...

Yep. Trust me to be 'off' the BBS while someone organised a Cambridge meet!!

Count me in for definite.

Richard

ps How about putting in a sideways post into the "Midlands" bit as Stef & co might well come over from Northampton if we invite them http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

I could only stay for 30mins last time, I'd prefer a Monday.

Folks...

I'll be there.

My work comes to an end on the 9th of June (for holiday in Turkey). There is a strong chance that I'll be around for a year afterwards http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Any chance it could be on Sunday 21 May? There's an SIDC course in Chelmsford on Sat 20, at which I and others will be present, and I'm going to stay with friends in Cambridge that night rather than slog back to Brighton immediately - not sure if others will be hanging around though? You could post in "General" to find out.

Just a thought

Peeps

Please make it a w/end. Almost impossible to get a pass for the week-time. I can always wrangle a couple of hours at the w/end (like Snetterton this one coming http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif ).

Otherwise it would appear that I'm a wuss & under the thumb http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif

It looks like some people prefer a weekend meet, others a weekday. So being that we're a democratic society, I'll take a show of hands...

Who's for a weekday - Monday (15th, 22nd or 29th)?

Who's for a weekend - Sunday the 21st?

Weekdays would be better for me. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

My preference would be anything other than
the 21st !! ... friends stag weekend (*hick*).

Richard Gledhill 11 May 2000 06:30 PM

Whatever, don't mind really. Weekend is easier as long as it doesn't clash with a Grand Prix http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Monday 15th Sounds good to me http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

Guy Humpage 12 May 2000 01:09 PM

I can make Monday (15th) but not the Sunday (21st).

GMAY 12 May 2000 02:26 PM

Combining the midlands and southern replies, I make it 6 for a weekday and 3 for a weekend. So a weekday it is. I suggest this coming Monday the 15th at say 7 - 7.30. For those who didn't come last time, come off the east bound side of the A14 signposted Fen Ditton (it's the next junction after the A10 to Ely turnoff at Milton). Go up to T junction at end of slip road and turn right. Drive for about 1/2 a mile and turn right at the "Blue Lion" pub, into the road called "High Street". Drive a couple of hundred metres and bear right at war memorial into Green End. Go right to end of the road and into "The Plough" car park.

See you there.
