Exhaust backbox Question
 

I own a my52 bugeye with a standard backbox on it, if i put a sti backbox on will it make any difference, ie sound wise ?

Try the WRsport back box...Had one on my last Sti type uk sounds good.Should get one on e-bay or £350 new from subaru dealers.

I didnt think much of the standard STI back box on my 02 STI, just couldnt hear it at all.

Got lucky on Ebay and got a nearly brand new Ninja Back box and THAT sounds good. Not too loud when cruising but enough to turn heads if you get a little heavy footed.

My 02 Wrx bugeye has a full magnex exhaust system, turbo downpipes , de catted, re-mapped , also forge dump valve and sounds the mutts nuts

How loud you talking mate. is it the 6x4 tailpipe??

I'm shortly gonna be putting a decat centre magnex straight through to a 6x4 backbox on a bugeye wrx.... want it to be meaty but don't want any drone at any motorway speed or anything!
