MY95 WRX import bonnets
 

Are they alloy or steel?

I could try the magnet trick, but have just be asked and am at work!

if you can lift it with your little finger easily then it is alloy.. lol

I think they are steel though on the WRX but not 100% sure.

my MY96 STI has aluminuim bonnet and boot I think!

My old 94 WRX (not STI) had an alloy bonnet (and bottom arms) - I was under the impression all JDM cars came with the alloy bits.

my 94 wrx also has alloy bonnet. The wagons had steel i think, or maybe that was just uk wagons.

my wrx '93 model is one of the lightweight ones too - and when an owner of a UK car lifts it open, it takes their arm off when it flies up so easily :D:D:D
