Hi Michael.

Sounds like I'm advertising but have you tried Elephant..? Their web interface is quite straight forward to use too. Also, don't forget to add a 'female' driver as that usually knocks off a few quid.

do the sensible thing take your trade elsewhere,Its an hard task but shop around, one mans good quote is another mans rip off.Everybodys circumstances are different but be very specific with your quotes because if the girl on the other end of the phone is not familier with the different variations of each model she may just tick the wrong box and hey presto 'rip off quote'

Direct Line have been good to me but they will drop it on toes for any mods, try Green Light they seem to have a sensible approach to mods.
e.g of dickhead operators Quote( We find that any owner who makes any modifications to the vehicle including a change of wheel colour is more likely to have a crash) Direct Line and that one with the silly dog 'OH YES'

Keith Michaels have just insured my WRX PPP with other Prodrive bits for £580. Speak to Gary Moulson, you wont have to explain what a PPP is either.

Always found NFU at Northampton to be very good on UK cars (but don't insure import so unfortunately so no longer with them) Price came down year on year over 3 years, even though I was already maxed out on bonus, and adding further mods. (I know a chap with +400BHP insured with NFU for less than £500pa.......unlimited mileage...... :eek2:

With A-plan now, and have the modified JDM Sti 5 insured for £50pa more than I was paying on my UK MY98PPP before it (with NFU) so well pleased with them as well.
