Mid Wales Run Sunday 23 October 2005 in Pictures and Words

In pictures and words, todays run to the hills and back again.... (duplicate post on ScoobyWales)

Most memorable moments....

- Following Chris's RA Spec - what a noise, thanks for organising and keeping us all together!

- The 'jump' I really thought my number was up, the car felt like it was in the air for about a minute (probably about 0.01 seconds!) and the hedge loomed large.

- The ABS really does work then....and the sheep that lived as a result!!

- The bizzare woman in the white Astra who drove up and down the line of cars saying 'what the fc*k' with her young daughter in the back, random.

- Bacon rolls at Llandovery (superb as always)

- AST adjustable suspension, worth every penny, car felt secure and stable all day (except when airborne!)

- 11mpg!!

Respect to you all guys & thanks for a safe, fun day, there are some amazing drivers among you!

Every school boys / car theifs wet dream surely. Unfortuately for both i douby they had much / any opportunity to get any where near the cars.

Some really nice looking cars their - some of the classics are very clean, you obviously have far too much free time! But hey whats it worth just to see people pointing when you have cleaned your car and they hear it first and then see how well looked after it is.

Sounds like you all had a good day, air bourne - was brown the order of the day on the under wear front!! Know what you mean about the ABS, whilst the brakes on our scooby are superb it's not until you really have to anchor up that you really appreciate how good they really are. Thank god you didn't have to get the mint sauce out.

God I wish I had made the time to get along to the run . ......................... very envious.

Really was a good day to burn fuel and help the environment. Watching the fuel gauge go
