Quake 4 out tomorrow
 

As the title says, its officially due for release tomorrow.

Seems to have gotten some mixed reviews so far, and from what I can see (from the odd movie or so) looks to be very similar to Doom 3 (which I guess was inevitable - same engine, same team)

Anyone played it yet?

Might pop into town tomorrow to pick it up anyway

Q4 is cack imo, I played 3 levels and deleted it.

Heard the same - very limited like D3, but still a laff now and then...
Just wanted to try it out - might end up being someones Xmas present ;)

bought it this lunchtime and spent an hour or so on it.

First impressions are pretty good - was expecting something along the lines of the Doom3, but this is much faster gameplay and more involving.

Nothing groundbreaking yet though.

Whatever happened to destoyable walls and floors, thought that aspect would have made it into a game by now

Good effort :) I'm pleased with both really.

I'm starting to like Q4, fun if you want a quick blast on something. :)
No brainer type shoot em up.
