AOL broadband with D-Link wireless router...???
 

moved to a house share where they have AOL broadband (god knows why!!!)

was wondering if its possible to use my D-link G604T wireless router with it rather than the AOL/BT modem thats supplied so i can share the connection and also use it wirelessly.

i have heard of problems with AOL and non-AOL hardware. any ideas...?

cant remember the name of it but im sure the one we've got isnt in the list but it works fine.

cheers mate. not on the list. not an expert when it comes to this side of things so could be me. works fine with the AOL modem and have tried to configure the router but no joy.

good to hear, think i've found part of the problem,

changing the conncetion to new AOL one from Virgin with the new password/username etc.. and after re-booting the router any changes i've made disappear and the old virgin account is back as the only connection??

got a Netgear DG632 its not on the list but works ok
