Thats a yes for the old shape Forester and classic Imprezas.
Just be careful with new shape Forester/Impreza seats if they have airbags in.

The mounting brackets are a different height arent they?

obi 16 October 2005 08:00 PM

We have a WRX drivers seat in our '97 Forester. Only thing that didn't fit was one of the plastic 'rail' covers.

The Forester seat is higher off the floor, but all the mounting points are in the same place as the Impreza.
I had the Forester seats as low as possible anyway and the WRX seats had some front & back height adjustment to get a bit higher.

As obi said, they fit without issue other than the placky cover

Hi Nick, How's it going? you gonna come back to the forester clan anytime soon?
Just made 300 bhp on Saturday at scoobyclinic

HI Ira,
Just when I go and buy a WRX, the STi Forester came out :(
Still, in 18 months time I'll get one - a 2.5 T and fit a twin scroll :)

I still lurke on subaruforester.com now and again, making little wishful sighing noises.

Nick
