Scoobyclinic

Can any one tell if Scoobyclinic in Chesterfield Derbyshire is a good place to go to have a clutch fitted, Anyone had a good or bad experience with them.

Any comments will be much appriciated.

Or can someone suggest a better place live in Manchester

Thanks

Could you tell me is £395 supplied and fitted for a oe clutch an average price. And an upradted one £495? I aint got a clue! just dont want too pay over the odds

Cheers

That sounds like the clutch only. I have seen supply and fit costs normally around the £800 mark. IIRC.

Napedog 13 October 2005 10:55 AM

Scoobyclinic just emailed me back a minute a go and are saying £495 + vat for a uprated clutch supplied and fitted. I thoght it would cost around the £800 mark myself thats why i wanted to see what you guys thought.

You really cant go wrong with scooby clinic mate, regarded as one of the best scoob specialists. Sounds like a great price to me too:)

i went there with my sport for a standard airbox and they gave me a turbo one.
Now ive actually got a turbo i'm hoping they'll be more helpful.
But im female and get a lot of crap wherever i take my car :(

The 100 quid labour I was charged for an oil change and a clutch fitted to my old wrx looks like the bargain of the year (at a garage). Im sure I got the clutch for 100-150 quid as well, cant find that receipt. Was a few years back, and the garage is no longer there I may add.

I know its my first post but im in the Evo tuning circles but always keep my eye on both makes :)
We use Kev and the guy's at scoobie clinic for there rolling road and having got to know Kev quite well i can honestly say he and his staff have a genuine passion for all things Subaru!! Top outfit and pricing.

Depending on why your clutch needs replacing, you may also need a new flywheel if you suffered from clutch judder, as i do on my sport and im told a new clutch will need a new flywheel too, as the judder is part fault of the flywheel not just the clutch, so make sure !!

cheers.......

SCOOBYCLINIC

Hi m8

I have recently had dealings with the clinic. Very proffessional, friendly and willing to give advice and let you view what happening.

Seeing is believing.

They get my thumbs up.
