Website Application

Guys,

I'm rebuilding a friend's business website to focus in more on what he is doing now. The original site was built using Frontpage so I am sticking with that for now.

My question is this; can anyone recommend an easy to use web application that will allow my friend to access his own website and change text and pictures when he feels the need?

I'm looking for something that would allow him eg to put up special offers, etc. App needs to be relatively simple to use, not something that is a techie app.

Thanks

WB

If you want something better get dreamweaver and use the templates, you can then lock parts of the page so he can only edit certain regions without doing any damage

Thanks guys. Was looking at an app that runs under Linux recently that was just what I was looking for but I can't remember what it's called.

Any more ideas please?

Thanks

You could use a content management system like mambo, fairly easy to setup but does require abit of technical knowledge but once thats done *anyone* can post content on the site using a WYSIWYG editor, you simply log in to the website itself to add news/features/offers so no hassle with uploading, a great tool!

You could try mpCMS content management system from magic pear. Their site is currently undergoing a redesign but can put you in touch if you want. Needs windows hosting though. If you need some help with that let me know.
