New Clutch...

Scoob is in for a major overhaul next week including full service, cam belt and a new subaru clutch.

Sounds like a stupid question but are these jobs likely to make the car feel much more responsive/quicker ( the clutch i'm refering to more than anything).

Never had to have a new clutch in it so i'm a little in the dark as to how much better the car may feel with a new one!!

No, it won't make the car feel quicker/responsive unless the clutch was sliping badly, but if it was on its way out, the new one will make it nicer to drive and feel fresher, if you see what I mean. Its surprising the extent to which you adapt your driving style to compensate for worn out bits :)
