And he would be ......?

CharlieWhiskey 26 September 2000 04:03 PM

Is it that ridiculous Tory toff by any chance?

Not much of an advert for Scooby's is it!

The Editor of The Spectator I believe.

Funny chap.

skipjack 26 September 2000 05:15 PM

oops, accidentally touched a nerve there.

CharlieWhiskey 26 September 2000 05:40 PM

Yep, must admit he is very funny - I'm always ROFLMAO whenever he comes on 'Have I got News for You'! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

Rather like the Monty Python sketch called 'Toffs Olympics' http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Enough said?

[BTW I do not intent to be politically biased - honest http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif]

He had me spilling my coffee over the duvet, whilst watching David Frost on Sunday morning. True British humour, at its best.

A Scoob driver as well? http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

Pete Croney 26 September 2000 05:51 PM

I'm told that Jonathan Edwards, Colin Jackson and Steve Backley have Imprezas too.

skipjack 26 September 2000 06:40 PM

he was asked by the blue rinsers how he'd be able to juggle a busy schedule in london but still spend time in the constituency.

the reply was "i believe the answer to that question is parked outside."

he he.

Boris is the man....shame about him being a Tory

BarryK 26 September 2000 09:17 PM

OK I asked a friend of mine and he confirms what you say. "BJ" is apparantly a tory gob$hite.

So I'll be taking note of what he has to say then. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Tim W 26 September 2000 11:20 PM

Boris was also the chap on Clarkson's chatshow who when chalenged to an arm wrestle beat JC, and accused him of being a 'girl' because JC vomed whilest a passenger in an F15...Boris disn't, and was up for longer...highly amusing chap http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

DavidG 26 September 2000 11:54 PM

He may be a tory but he is very, very funny. His appearances on have I Got News For You are absolute classics. Apparently he's not as dim as he makes out.

LanCat 27 September 2000 09:08 AM

But then no one could possibly be as dim as he makes out. Oh hold on he wants to be a politician. He is as dim as he makes out. Someone else must have chosen his car for him http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

HunterB 27 September 2000 09:44 AM

He speaks very highly of you guys .... http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Scott J Davies 27 September 2000 09:50 AM

BJ Top Bloke!

Question time is quality + when he's on.

And as for being a Torie, well they are the lesser of two evils I feel.
