Some how dont think a Gallardo would hold the amount of stuff the average traffic Volvo carries. Excellent deterrant though, would stop a few people trying it on !
A few traffic police I know have commented that they dont like the Volvos as they can be a little reluctant to go around courners !

that story made the sunday times a few weeks ago.

i think it was a loan car for some demonstration.

besides from needing room for police "stuff", i think the major problem is that with two officers in the car there is no room to put suspects.

apparently the italian highway patrol were given one though by Lambo for high speed pursuits, and were so impressed they bought another!

I Have drove a lot of police t5,s and they are very reluctant to go round corners.

Scary in fact.

I can concur: local plod put one in a dyke "practising" a high speed chase.

Isn't "Volvo" Swedish for "tank" or "boat" or something:D?

And anyway, aren't they part of Ford now:eek:
