Panel filters -STI from Japan Parts -Merged with STI Pedals

Ok guys and girls

I am in the midst of sorting out a group buy on STI pedals from
http://www.japanparts.com

and since we are ordering quite a few I thought it might be useful to get anything else whacked on the delivery as its one cost for the shipment.
So it was suggested that a GB on STI panels filters might be good so here it is.

http://www.japanparts.com/New_web/SU...Ti/0300910.JPG

Link to the item and cost is £33.21 per single, but if you are quick about it I am sure we can do a discount.

But be quick !!

As i am about to order the sti pedals, I need to confirm the full order to them

Get back to me either by PM, email or posting if interested.

Was there not a test recently, were the standard green filter out performed the STi filter?

I will have one, but want the better one, which ever that is.

Buck

you could be right :D, but whats the price of the green filters?
Any comments welcome ..

I believe the test was in Scooby mag. Fair enough they did dyno the car, but there's plenty of people who have used the STI filter for long periods of time and rate it higher.

I'm sure the STI one in question is the same for all models, but the one linked is on the classic page and the one I was looking at for an 05 has a different part number and picture.

http://www.japanparts.com/shop/shop....rd=Air+Element

I'll start the list and I'll put the part number relevant to my car next to my name, anyone else wanting one should probably do to just to make sure we get the right thing. The 05 part number is as per mine in the list, the classic and bugeye both read - 003-009-010 :

Thx for getting it stated :D
I forgot to mention that any orders I do will cover the parts for any model, dont care whether it is a classic or 05, just let me know and I will add it to the order and then contact you all for payment.

Good man tony. When will the order be going in? I've had a quick glance at what else is nice and might have another item to add in. But definetely for the Panel Filter.

welcome to add anything you want :D
I am going for the door protectors, sti cap as well as the sti pedals so feel free to PM or email me with the items you want to add.
Have a look at the STI pedal thread and you will see that I want to finalise, place order and start collecting paymnet for the whole JapanPart order by end of this week.

Stiver3 27 September 2005 03:25 PM

As well as the STi pedals i would definitely be interested in a coulple of other bits....

Do these come at a discount as well or are they priced already as per the website??

Cheers Charlie

SwissTony 27 September 2005 03:31 PM

Charlie

We are getting the discount on the overall order :D
So for example if we only order the 20x sti pedals we get 10% off that
But I added on a few things extra and Graham at Japanparts did the 10% on the complete order, so unless I am wrong, we should get an overall discount.
Dosent matter that much as loads of stuff is cheaper than in the uk and even with postage we make a saving.
Get those orders in, deadline is friday because that gives all the original sti pedal lot something to aim for and its only fair to them (as opposed to the panel filter GB) to get this order placed.

Stiver3 27 September 2005 03:44 PM

Legend.....

Will sort my order out within next day or so.

Cheers matey...

I'll take one, mines just coming upto 10k miles now!

Swen6 28 September 2005 12:07 AM

Just been looking on the site, i want the STI key on their home page at the bottom, but can't find it, revolution have got them but they're £30.

They claim they won't work on mine, but i haven't got the transponder, so i'm pretty sure it would, also my spare is a pure metal key cut???, go figure, also the the stainless door trims?, i don't know if i should put the money else where, decisions, decisions!!!!

SwissTony 28 September 2005 08:54 AM

mark
know exactly what you are after but the picture on the first page is different to the one on the list

http://www.japanparts.com/New_web/SU...ver2/01425.jpg

Though these guys sell them as well but they are more expensive than JP

Scoobymania
Note that they say UK cars need the chip installed in case around the key.
But is yours an import?

I dont know :D I should stop putting temptation in your way...
Ok here goes, look into my eyes and repeat after me ..
There is nothing I need for my car
There are no websites that have stuff for sale
There is no need to spend any money
I will give my spare cash to charity
I drive a bus

There should help :D

So once you buy the spoiler, carbon bonnet, number plates, ss door protectors, panel filters, pedals, is there anything left :D :D :D

Don't forget to allow for customs charges!

I've got an STI Scoop and under tray on the way from JapanParts, used the parcel tracking service yesterday and my package has been delayed by customs for charging.

Sometimes they get through, sometimes they don't.

mmmiddy

How much was the scoop?? Looking for and STI8 to fit my blobeye WRX

mmmiddy 28 September 2005 11:49 PM

31,113 JPY including postage, but the customs want their pound of flesh too!

That's for a bugeye scoop mind, including the under tray.

Can't see the blobeye one on their site, drop them an e-mail.

That's £158.

Stiver3 28 September 2005 11:49 PM

I have read the other group buy on STi pedals... wondering if this group buy is still happening.

Had planned on getting a few items from Japanparts along with the pedeals.....

But if Japanparts are not going to do them does it mean this groups buy on STi panel filters and other minor bits are over?

Charlie

st3ph3n 29 September 2005 08:28 AM

Charlie, there's a group buy on pedals from japanparts, but at the same time we're also ordering more things from Japanparts. In particular I thought the panel filters would be a good idea as people are always looking for them.

I myself are not getting any pedals, but I will get a panel filter and probably another small item or two.

mmmiddy 29 September 2005 08:54 AM

Scoop arrived this morning, customs charge was £39.52 in total.
£26.02 Customs VAT and £13.50 Parcelforce clearance fee.

That was on a £158 order.

st3ph3n 29 September 2005 07:14 PM

I'll take a Cusco radiator cooling plate too - 163-002-003 - £54 less discount.

That's all for me. Although I'd dearly love many many many more things, but I've got Insurance, an all day track day, an oil change and a cusco strut brace to pay for.

GaryCat 29 September 2005 07:22 PM

I'll have a filter
