Do You Pay direct debit or a one-off Payment?
 

All the quotes I have had are for a single payment, which have been very cheap, only when I say I want to pay Direct Debit it goes up, but still very good quotes. So was just wondering if anyone on here pays in full in one go?, whats the advantages of it, apart from a saving to begin with?.

i got two different companies depending on what STI I find, whether it has a PPP upgrade on it, Admiral for the 265bhp, and A-Plan for the 300bhp. Both seem to have had good things said about them.

I always pay all at once so i dont have to worry about it for the reast of the year, but my boss pays it on a monthly cause in the past he has had 2 insurance company go down the pan and he only lost about 20 quid instead of all the money uptill the end of the policy cause he didnt pay all the amount. But i depends on if you want to take the risk!

Im thinking of paying it on the monthly when i re-new it as it not going to be cheep and dont fancy loosing the cash!

Always pay by DD, then it eliminates any issues trying to get a refund on a fully paid policy if u want to change insurers later on.

Valid points above. Consider getting yourself a nice credit card with 0% interest for 12 months and avoid paying the interest to any insurance underwriters by having a direct debit. Repay the card over the twelve month period then if the buggers do go under you have some form of recourse with your card issuer!

Best of both worlds assuming your sensible and dont go buying mods for the car as well like I did!
