See you're into your flying.

I was into microlites for a number of years. Split up with the missus a few years back so either the road toy or the air toy had to go ! Miss the freedom of the sky, but get to play everyday with the car !

Where do you fly from usually ?

JackClark 26 September 2005 10:19 PM

I'll fly from any field/car park where I can get permission. The playing field in that photo is in Aylesbury, my home town. No flying for a couple of weeks as I put a brake handle through the prop! Good test of my emergency landing training :)

It's exactly the same Windsock, I was camped next door to you, Silver Bugeye wagon. I'm driving a van down next year, taking my Paramotor with me. You going?

Woody1 27 September 2005 07:17 PM

Ah, so you was there. Bloody heat was unbearable wasn't it ? Didn't realise it was the actual one. Used to have one of those myself on the farm where I kept my plane. Had a prop moment myself when I was learning to fly when the visor came off my helmet shortly after taking off from a beach. It took the tips off and split one of the blades. Went to carbon fibre after that which don't come out of balance and can take alsorts going through them.

Yeh, we have just booked with Club motorsport. The campsite is further away, but the facilities look far better and include food / live entertainment etc. Waiting an hour for a crap and showers that dripped were annoying especially as I was with my pregnant partner. Not to mention nearly getting into a fight with a French **** who tried to push in the shower queue because he was working there.

Let me guess, the van is to fit the swimming pool in ???? I was tempted to jump in one of them this year !

Been the last three years now. Its become an annual institution !

Are you going to the same campsite this year ?

Regards

Neil

Great pic's Woody.

Like the one with you using the rear spoiler as a Ironing board . lol

May see you st Le Mans next year if your going.

The van is for the furniture, want to take a load of sofas, tables, kitchen stuff and air conditioning, definately not a swimming pool, that'd turn into a toilet in minutes. I don't want to do the same camp ground, bored of it after 4 years... but everyone else does so I guess I am.

We took the iron and a piece of string just for the photo. Sad gits 'r' us !!

Underwear has been stashed for now as the missus looks like a whale until she drops in November !!!

If we'd of used my mates (MrIncredible - silverSTi) missus bra, a slight wind would of took the cars away !!

Note to one's self......dont let the women read this thread !!!
