Medion ppc 150 PDA repair ??
Just purchased a very cheap used medion ppc 150 combined sat nav / pda unit, was bought as faulty hence cheap !! turns out its the input socket for the data lead / power supply etc, have had a quick look and noticed that the small wafer type insert that accepts the actual plug has both come loose and looks as if it will have to be replaced as the very thin lines / legs appear to be bent.
anyone here in the know to having these things fixed as a reasonable price ?? is this wafer type plug insert likely to be a commonly available item from say the likes off maplins etc ?? any help or advice would certainly be very much appreciatted as kinda keen to get my new in car toy ( gps facility ) up and running asap !! cheers, john p.s belive this unit is the exact same as the mitac mio 168 PDA & a few others from the looks off things !!! |
