It's only taken 5 1/2 years.....
But i think after many incarnations, i'm nearly there,
my00, Rota wheels, 335mm front brakes, home brew leather interior, BMW rear lip spoiler, eibachs, tdo5, tek 3, wrx intercooler, k&n induction, full decat, morrettes and more... but i'm sure i'll find a few other things to bolt onto it soon eh!! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...uff/scooby.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...ff/scooby1.jpg I've had it from new, and it recently got awarded with a roof over it's head, i just adore this car, where do you go after a scoob...?? God only knows.... hopefully i'll not have to worry about that for a while yet eh!! |
thats beautiful mate,,,very nice
|
;)
|
Very nice looking car mate!!
You planning a V6 Front Lip and Colour Coded Skirts & Morrettes along with STi Rear Lights?? ;) :) Cheers, Grant |
I have considerd a V6 lip, but won't colour code it, as i like the contrast of black sills, rub strips, and door surrounds..... sometimes too much colour can, well, be too much imho.....
|
i really like it with just that little lip spoiler on the boot nice job, lovely car!
|
A different angle for you..... and also a different no plate!!

Another vote for the lip and Sti rears here.... the clear lights make a massive visual difference :)
I don't recall seeing Morrettes on a DBM before, I like them... looking good RON. Simon :D |
Looks stunning and in mint condition. Quality car.
|
The Morettes are one of the latest additions, at least i can see now!! 100/80's in the outers.... 55's in the inners, and 130's in the spots just in case!!!!
It's in 'Mint condition' cos it's my 'baby', it normally gets 'Swissoled' regularly, but hasn't been done for what seems like ages, must be a good 4 months.... actually, i needed something to do tomorrow... might get the wax out!!! |
I like the rear lip spoiler. Subtle

Love the look of the rear spoiler.
Very  :thumb: |
pat on the back for that - tastefully done
...and you've got to love the way you set up the shot for those first few pics! ;) |
Nice house....
or and like the car too... top stuff... My mate lives in verwood BTW... |
You can't even see the house, thats just the driveway/parking bit..... newly built, to our very own design.....and spec, mostly by my own fair hands, well they were before i built the house!!
Tell your mate we've got a Subaru meet at St Leonards if he's interested... Cheers.

Lovely car Ron, enjoy :D
|
;)
|
Love it, very different to the norm. Looks superb, I really, really like that lip spoiler.
Lovely house too. |
It's looking great Ron. :thumb:
After 3.5 years I still haven't bought STI clusters for my DBM, I'm just not sure they look right against the blue. |

You're the first person to agree with me Ron.
It is tricky, in some conditions they look good but in others they can look very . . . . . . aftermarket, if you know what I mean. It's frustrating as they look so good on the lighter colours - even black seems to work better than the DBM. I'll let you go first with the black crystal. ;) |
The trouble is i don't want it to go all 'moody' on me.....
I like the rest of the car the way it is, but i just think the sidelights look a little too obvious now i have the morrettes, might have a go on photoshop to see if i can get an idea eh!! Well, just had a very quick mess on a photo programme, and yuck, darkening the sidelights does not work, it almost takes the shine off of the car somehow.... oh well, looks like i'll have to spend that 40quid on fuel instead!! :) |
Ron..
I would leave it exactly as it is. Looks very subtle, and actually very original, so wouldn't want anything spoiling that. Good effort. :) |
Very, very, very nice :thumb:
That BM lip is very  |
As always Ron, a Class Act car, looking superb mate
John |
STi lights on my old DBM classic, made the back end look better.
http://photobucket.com/albums/y16/sc...t=DSCN1005.jpg http://photobucket.com/albums/y16/sc...t=DSCN1006.jpg Can pick them up 2nd hand for around £100. |
Loverly looking car mate :thumb:
What about getting the morrettes colour coded? Deffo sti rears ;) and a front lip, somthing small and subtle like the rear bmw rear lip wing Darren |
Yhansk for the comments, just had a very quick play with rear lights...... can't make my mind up, in some ways it looks better.... but..??
