I'm looking at one of these

What i'm looking for is some satellite channells you can't get in the uk ;) Also I have a website that a mate of a mate runs where I can get any football match which is broadcast (ie. any saturday game 3.00pm kick off live).

I think this is the bit of kit I need but i'm no techno geek :D

just like porn and football :D

Anyone know much about this sort of stuff

If you can't get them, you can't get them. Or do you mean they are coming over Astra but not from Sky so you need a box capable of dealing with European encryption? Or is it on a different Satellite completely, in which case you may need a new dish or LNB or a motorised kit or second dish depending on which satellite and how acessible it is compared to Astra.

I don't see the box you showed is going to help much, it looks to just be covering UK cable and satellite (freeview) unless I missed the European stuff?

doesn't appear to have any CI slots which would really limit your options . would be more inclined to pick up a 2nd hand Humax 5400 for the same sort of money
