Hi,
I went on Friday and Saturday,
Nice to finally meet Scoobychick and the rally nobbers.
A cigar to anyone who can spot the celebrity in the background of one the pics.

He was at Rheola 1/2 on friday too where we where marshalling, my cousin was chatting to him and apparently he's not yet qualified as a pilot on the R44 he was flying - just on the smaller R22. I'm pretty sure the co-pilot was an instructor so it was legal. :)

Great pics BTW :thumb:

Thanks for the comments guys.

What a sad sad day today, my thoughts are with Michael's wife and two children, and also to Marko and his family.
I have put some more pics on my website now HERE

Sunday was a very sad day:( and was going to come home early but felt it was right to go to Cardiff and pay our respects to M.Park

Patt@firstime 19 September 2005 01:59 PM

Awesome photos :notworthy

Nicci 19 September 2005 02:30 PM

Fantastic photos.

Hope you don't mind me using the 'Beef' pic as my wallpaper (best thing I found as a tribute).

springbok 19 September 2005 09:26 PM

Nicci, no problems you are more than welcome to use it.

That shot was taken on friday at Trascowed on the first run.
It was a lovely bright sunrise that morning, coming over the valley, cold and crisp, not a cloud in the sky, perfect rally weather.
It was my first and only WRC of this year and I was buzzing that morning.

Such a contrast to what I felt after hearing the sad news on Sunday.
It just seemed an appropriate pic.
