Irf people didnt re-post things from time to time, newer people would never get to see it.

Normal worldwide practise on a Dyno Dynamics Rolling Road is to quote HP at the wheels. If it is extrapolated it would say S_HP on top right of dyno chart.

443.1 on a Scooby is around 598.8 Flywheel....

Cheers

AROUND 598.8?

thats fairly accurate for an approximate figure don't you think?

kwakman 16 September 2005 03:56 PM

Itd be lag free though. Similar set up to the Grp B Lancia Delta.

Right with you on that point ! I've never understood with all these SIAL threads, especially mpg etc why there's not just a permanently pinned topic for such discussions. Some of us go for days or weeks without our Scoobynet fix, mostly work enforced.

For the avoidance of doubt the SIAL I posted on here yesterday was because the perpetrator had posted exactly the same point in exactly the same forum under a different thread title on the same day. :p

Bit worried with the literature on the web site, quote;

"This kit was engineered to be the finest boosing system in the world"

:eek2:

Boosing ... that'll be 'cos it drinks petrol ... a lot ! :norty:

harvey 16 September 2005 09:22 PM

Pretty complicated way of going about it.
A reliable 585 bhp on 2 litres was not a problem 2yrs ago.

Adam you might not have noticed Weltmeister ( Allan ) is from WRC based in Silverstone and they have got one of the UK's best Dyno Dynamic's rolling road's ;) Obviously the transmission losses can very depending on diff's, gear ratios, tyre pressure's etc so that around figure could vary quite considerably :D

Still complete over kill IMHO as you and so many other people have now proved to get that sought of performance, it might be quite a nice set up with an extra 2 cylinders though ;)

Wannabe 17 September 2005 12:10 PM

seems a bit over kill on a standard Sti engine tho, thought you wouold have to upgrade the engine a bit to take that amount of boost etc
