Admiral prices

Afternoon all.

Looking at buying a Scooby so i did some quotes for various models.

Admiral came out cheapest on each one, the quotes were done on confused.com

Has anyone had dealings with Admiral?

experiences good / bad?

Im 26 with 6 years no claims, no points, 5000 miles p/a, car parked on driveway.

2001 - WRX = £727
2002 - STI = £768
2001 - P1 = £812

Thanks

Maddsy

I had my UK Turbo 2000 insured with them when I was 23.

I'm 26 now and just got a quote for my WRX STi Type-R V5 for £870!

I was with Admiral for the last two years with my STi. No problems for me, have only changed this year as I got a cheaper quote from their sister company elephant.

Admiral ....just wait until you have to speak to their 'call centre' in Bangladesh, I couldn't understand the guy called 'Colin' (yeah right cos that's his real name :Whatever_ )and he couldn't understand the difference between a V and a T (bit tricky on number plates !). I will not be using them again until they start employing people who are based in UK or at least have a grasp of the English language.

Problem is, they don't have the Type-R listed as a model. I had to say it was an STi and for them to make a note that it is a two door.

I think you'll find if you call out of normal office hours ie weekend / evening then you get the pleasure of repeating everything 10 times, unless they've realised the sh*t service they were giving and have gone back to good old english speaking staff :)

I have spoken to a company called Allen and Allen through AF. They gave me a quote on a uk spec STi fully comp with 2 years no claims aged 24 of £1100 which is good
