granting list access via subinacl ?
Does anyone know the correct syntax for list granting list access for Subinacl version 5.2.3790?
e.g this is read: subinacl /file "\\yourserverhere\foldername" "/grant=grouphere=R" & this is change subinacl /file "\\yourserverhere\foldername" "/grant=grouphere=C" but what the feck is list? and no it isn't L before anyone says ;) I don't trust the gui built into Windows and don't want to feck up what is below the top level share. I've had probs with that in the past.
We used xcacls vbscript that you can get from MS. http://support.microsoft.com/?id=825751 B'stard slow tho... |
Cheers, I did it from an NT4 box in the end and the permissions weren't filtered down or replaced. Then once the top level was done I used subinacl to do individual folders.
