Wastegate solenoid problem?

This is the code DD show in my car:

PO244 – Turbocharged wastegate solenoid A range/Performance (High input).

It was before few hours at the mountains (spirited drive with third gear and continuous corners) and when CEL appeared the car was on full boost and instantly cut me.
After that although it drives fine CEL remains on until I reset the ECU.
Service manual says “replace waste gate solenoid valve”, is the solenoid knackered or something else as it holds perfectly idle contrary to what should happen if solenoid is problematic?
Plus which solenoid refers this to, “original” wastegate duty solenoid (16102AA360) that is placed in suspension turret or the other solenoid under inlet manifold and near turbo inlet hose (16102AA300)?
I have PPP ECU, USDM STI fuel pump (flows 10% more than WRX pump), AVO turbo inlet hose, STI I/C, Scoobysport up-down-rear decated pipes with factory center section and yesterday added Prodrive back box.
Thanks in advance
JIM

Anyone?

It's tech talk for overboost Jim, can't remember exactly what the wording is but I used to see it occassionally when first playing with a dawes in the MY01.

It may be overboosting due to the reduction in atmospheric pressure if you were high up?

Hope this helps,
Simon :)

To be honest I believe my mods are extreme for Prodrive map thus I am going to take off the AVO turbo inlet hose that upsets intake air flow (too much flow especially at high revs).
One more detail is that the problem appeared after changing an STI back box for the Prodrive WR one last Friday (the rest mods where already at the limits of ECU map) which send IDC from 100-100,5% before to 105-106% currently!
Today I'll replace again the back box until I found time to fit the factory turbo intake duct.
Fortunatelly I tested again and again with DD and have seen the problem before destroy the engine! Fortunatelly...
