manifold paint
 

on my99 sti the red paint is flaking off, i have heard on here that it is a common problem, I have started to take most of the paint that would come off with my hands to leave the silver.

Have been looking at the Hammerite paint, and there red only comes in the smooth finish and not the hammered finished.

so my question is what paint to use to give the same colour and effect as standard.

you'd have to gte it powder coated unless there is a paint that does that?

that looks good, but am after something that i can paint on with a brush, btw looks like you did a v good job on it

good thing on my type r only tiny patch has come off. nice job though
