Just been told by a dealer that the new UK 300 is quicker than the STI because it has more torque??

Do you think its true or is the dealer saying this because they have a bigger profit margin??

Also he said he'll do me a "good deal" on an STI. The price is £26400 but beings you can get euro imports for £20000 or £25000 with 0% interest for 5 years, i can't see him matching these prices. Surely they must know how cheap people can get them for if they look hard enough??

The PPP (as fitted to the UK300) will make it marginally quicker than the standard -I repeat- standard Sti. As the WRX has more torque, very similar power and weighs less!

However, it Will most certainly not be faster than the Sti PPP! :)

They are very different cars to drive though, some people seem to think that the only diff between the Sti variants and their WRX counterparts is performance and thats not the case.
