ANY ONE KNOW ""LEGACY DAN""???
 

I AM DESPARATE TO TRACK DOWN A GUY ON HERE SIGNS HIMSELF AS LEGACY DAN,I BOUGHT AND PAID FOR AN EXHAUST NEARLY THREE MONTHS AGO FROM HIM BUT HE HAS SO FAR FAILED TO SEND IT,HE IS NOW IGNORING MY E-MAILS,I KNOW HE LIVES IN THE GUILDFORD SLOUGH AREA.I REALLY NEED FOR HIM TO GET IN TOUCH AS I HAVE BEEN ADVISED THAT MY NEXT STEP IS TO GO DOWN THE LEGAL ROUTE BUT I DON'T REALLY WANT TO DO THAT IF IT CAN BE AVOIDED,IF ANYONE KNOWS HIM PLEASE TELL HIM TO GET IN TOUCH WITH TALBOTSTEVE.

lts that long ago no,l had his e-mail on my old computer and that died so l lost his address.....bummer.l don't want any agro l just want my cash back....

Pete; youre the biggest keyboard warrior Ive ever seen on any forum. I doubt very much whether youd dare step out from behind your computer; of course; youll happily run off at the mouth.....

As you don't know the whole crack you don't know what l have already been doing to get my exhaust but this guy has been off and on sending this for the first 2 months since paying,
then i was to meet him at the rallycar day to collect it as he was struggling to find a courier,when i asked if i would get my postage back as i had to travel 250 miles to collect it(rallyday is at castle combe and i live in cumbria and i had paid £50 for postage)he dried up,and didn't show up at rally day.

A week after the rallyday at castle coombe he e-mailed and apologised for not coming as his car was wrecked,he promised i would have it within the week,after further e-mails it still has not turned up,this is a last resort to out him and shame him into sending my cash back,just because i haven't broadcast it on here for the last 3 months does not mean i have done or tried nothing.l am a very trusting person and realise that some folks do take a while to get stuff posted,myself included,but i at least stay in touch and don't refuse to communicate with any person i am dealing with.

There's no way that Steve can be seen to be "to blame" for his money apparently being ripped off - that's ridiculous.

I still think the original poster was a little too trusting .............. "Love all, trust a few and do wrong to none" is a good quote. Personally, I only love a few, I don't trust anybody ... but, I would endeavour to do wrong to none :D

Dude, can you eamil his ISP perhaps to get more info? Maybe they aren't allowed to under DP act but I'm sure there's a way that this could be pursued, ie via police making them divulge his details etc.

l have got a few irons in the fire,we shall see what happens,

Dan has contacted me tonight to explain he has been in hospital having an operation on his back,he has promised to send the exhaust by the end of this week.So everything should turn out ok!
