Massive over boost/over fuel in 1st gear?
It's always done it but now i'm fed up with it. Just a minute ago had a porsche ( don't know what one L reg with one of those fins on the back) beside me on a duel carriage way at the lights nice straight road ahead. He gave me the smile being so sunny i had to do it. Needless to say i left him for dead but the over boost in first gear was massive engine cut etc but as soon as i hit second smooth, third smooth, only ever happens in first. It's a jap 95 with a decat downpipe, induction kit in a stainless box, de cat centre, tsl firestorm on the back and a bailey dumpvalve. Any suggestions eagerly awaited, do i need a remap will it help, how much?.
p.s always run on octane booster and optimax without fail. |
could be a little bit of oil in the boost controller causing it to stick.
you could try to clean it out with carb cleaner!!!! |
