VTS cam belt question...

Hi there,

Does anyone know when the cam belt should be changed on my VTs? Its now done 30k and i was just wondring if there is a specified mileage when i should change it?

Many thanks,

Dog.

On my 106GTi which is basically the same car in the service book it said 75k miles but they say do it twice a regular, so had mine done at 40k just to be on the safe side :)

I did 55k miles on a LAD modified VTS - nothing other than standard servicing and no cam belt change. If you have stuck to standard servicing it should be fine - there might be a time consideration though, irrespective of mileage.

Well mine was done on age by Peugoet seeing as its a 97 with only 40k
