Agree With You On That One, Stolen Perhaps? Why Sell A Perfectly Good Front End? If Spoiler's Intact Then Rear End Ok Also?

LUCKO 18 August 2005 04:59 PM

just rang the bloke up, he said engine has gone so is breaking the car, apparently cant get a p1 engine anywhere!!

pinnochio

banny sti 18 August 2005 05:00 PM

That quad he is selling was bought off a friend of mine, and he seemed genuine enough when he came to collect it.

Power Junkie 18 August 2005 05:02 PM

Put a link on p1woc! looks dodgy.

GC8 18 August 2005 05:02 PM

If thats true; its a completely standard STI5 engine.....

PHILYB 18 August 2005 05:03 PM

looks like the engine is still in, may of blown up.
nobody in there right mind would break one, if the engine had just blown!!!

Swen6 18 August 2005 05:18 PM

Can't buy an engine my arse, they're even for sale on eBay!!!, And what, a engine tunning company wouldn't be able sell him an engine?.

And why won't it come out of the container for photos, scared someone might see it?

TEA LEAF!!!!!!

LUCKO 18 August 2005 05:21 PM

rang him again offered him a large figure for the car without engine, he said wants to break and that sold all the bits already.

i asked him for exactly the same thing and he said 'no i wouldn't sell those it's illegal' which leads me to believe he doesn't have any docs

dmc1980 18 August 2005 05:39 PM

Pass the feckers mobile number etc onto the police. That guy is a thieving scumbag IMHO. What does a P1 fetch these days? Who in their right mind is going to break one that the engine is blown in. Theiving scum

LUCKO 18 August 2005 05:49 PM

his mobile number is 07968 763647, called police in west yorkshire they were not interested. apparently if e-bay get involved they will not release any details because of the data protection act so case (if any) drops at first hurdle!!

can't believe the protection these thieves get

PHILYB 18 August 2005 05:52 PM

You can't give the reg number, as it has been seen.
