Also, if I sell privatley can anybody advise on allowing test drives to potential buyers?

Test Drives:

Make sure they have there own Insurance Fully Comp to drive it before any test drive. Make sure you check with there insurance company or have it in writting, Dont let them if they just say they are insured.

www.autotrader.co.uk will value it for you, also look at other RS's and see what there going for on Auto Trader.

Hoep this helps

Thanks for the advise.

Anymore links as the autotrader one doesn't allow the RS to be selected?

You can get a free valuation from glasses guide if you do it through the vauxhall site.

It does matey if you select Ford, then Focus and put in the min price as 16k and max at 20k, shows quite a few for sale.

I woudn't bother with the Parkers guide they tend to overvalue cars by as much as 1k the dealers dont use it , Glasse's guide is the one to use but you wont like what it tells you :(
You can get a Glasse's valuation at www.glass.co.uk think it costs £2.95 but it also verify's the cars ID as well
