fastest way to get rid of a beer gut?
 
i dont have much of a beer gut but i am about 1/2 a stone heavier then i would like to be-at mo im a 32" waist and would like to get back to a 30" waist-apart from cutting down on lagar-cutting down on bread which i ate about 12 slices a day-and doing sit-ups- what else can i do

Short answer ...

Burn more calories than you are taking in ...

There will be several answers a lot longer than that one :)

Get exercising. Don't change your diet. If you live on lager, train on lager. As you get fitter/feel better your eating habits will/should adapt.
You do have to enjoy whatever way you train as well though. If running on a treadmill/the street or weights is boring to you, get into something you find enjoyable and go from there.
I hate running on the street but can get in the zone on a treadmill or on a track ... strange ...

Fastest way is liposuction.


Anyway, lots of exercise, less food, especially crap food.

Situp are useful for toning the stomach muscles but's that no good if that 6 pack is covered by layers of fat.

fastest way is to quit beer :D

i had a diet i posted here yrs ago and in the evo forum u loose a stone a week

its for the cardiac heart surgery patients for them to go on it before the surgery

soups 7 days a week as much as u like, vegetables one day, except potatos, next day fruit all day except banana's and mango, 3rd day a small baked potato with butter and fruit and veg all day 4th day 8 banana's soup all day, 5th day veg ,fruit and 8 oz of beef or chicken, +the day fruit and veg and etc etc

its very good me being a chocaholic i gave in within 3 or 4 days and do loose half a stone

Eat less, exercise more. You need to take a serious look at your diet. Depends how much you actually want to get to a 30" waist. 99% is down to your motivation, commitment and determination.

Situps will tone the muscle but do feck all for burning fat around your stomach. You can't spot-reduce fat without going under the surgeons knife.

true their were more calories getting burned than taking in, i doubt i took in over 50 or a 100 calories with all that stuff maybe the potatoe days i did take maybe 300 calories

but i swear mate the different it makes on your waist is unbelievable, my wife went on it for a week i couldnt believe it, i aint seen her that thin since she had our baby

but she quiet as well its hard when u are used to chocolates and for asians its really hard coz we aint used to soups and plain veg or boiled etc

we need curries and meat :D

Best way i`ve found is just to do pure excercise.

Sure, you have to cut out all the rubbish, crisps, fizzy drinks, chocolate etc...

I`ve recently joined a gym, as i`m a good few stone overweight.
But it`s coming off...so i`ll keep at it.

Plus...i feel good about myself once i`ve excerscised.

I`m doing -
20 mins on rowing machine.
15 mins on treadmill
15 mins on cycling machine.

Plus various free weights, not that they`ll help burn fat though.

i know a doctor who happens to be a sheikh he gave me that he does heart surgery, he lost 5 stones in 6 weeks he was excercising alot everyday too, when i met him he had lost 3 stones he kept on afterwards he told me

What do you do if you have a Beer Gut but dont drink Beer?

and can go from 12.5 stone to 10.5 stone as a 5'11" man but still have the beer gut?

Exercise is the key.

I now eat far more than I used to but weigh two and a half stone less than I did two years ago.

Tried to cut down what I was eating but found it hard, couldn't stand being hungry. I eat a lot more healthily now as well but I aways eat when I'm hungry.

The big change for me is my mountain bike and gym three or four times a week.

I lost two stone and 8% body fat (23% to 15%) in two months by eating about 1000 cals a day and no crap/fast food while doing an hour of cardio work at the gym 4 times a week.
