What is the annual subscription cost after the 6 month free period?

I think the free period is now a year.

As per Blackspot;

3 Year Subscription £99
2 Year Subscription £79
1 Year Subscription £49

Fangoria 11 August 2005 10:53 AM

I'm interested at £309 - last one was stolen from car
Blackspot offered me a new new one for £320 with a 'police incident no' - but if I can get £11 cheaper all in then why not!

Anyway it could be cheaper with more volume - say a nice round £300

I have a spare laser thingy that comes with the Road Angel (never used) if anyone wants it for £30

XRS 11 August 2005 02:01 PM

How easy/quick is it to disconnect/disable the laser detection on these?

Hi XRS

The built in laser detector can be switched off / disabled using the Road Angels built in menu options.

Yes, but how easily/quickly?

Or can you just pull a lead out?

Fangoria 11 August 2005 04:06 PM

If its on the road angel menu's then a few seconds I guess

Slower than the jammers I have on my car - which is just the flick of a switch when the buzzer goes off!

As the laser is disabled via the menu, it is not something you could do on the move.

As previous post mentions, if you are mainly worried about mobile camera vans and laser guns, you might want to consider a laser diffuser (the one we sell is marketed and CE approved as a remote control garage door opener - so no awkward legal questions).

We have the LT400 up on a group buy offer on the group buy forum.

Hi
We have no control over subscription cost so regret we cannot bundle extra subs.
Unit comes with 6 months free which start from the date you register the unit.

Why bother with the updates subscription if the government has stopped putting up any more speed camera sites? There wont be anything to update soon... whilst Road Angel lot keep raking in the revenue???

New camera sites are still being introduced i am afraid.
Also updates keep your unit uptodate as temporary cameras are introduced and removed on long term roadworks.
