friendships into relationship?
 

following on from the relationships into friendship thread, has anyone ever turned a very successful friendship into a relationship without muddling it up?

My best mate's wife's best mate is now my wife (sounds confusing!). We had known each for about 10 years before, and always had a laugh at parties and stuff. We got together in 2000 and when we got engaged, no one took us seriously or believed it would work (some even thought it was a prank).

However, we've now been married 2 years and have a little one as a result, so, at the time of writing, it's gone it from a friendship to a relationship.
