From the t'other thread:

look for Hawes in North Yorkshire (J37 M6 onto A684)you'll see a tiny road (no number) that runs between Hawes and Thwaite(which lies on the B6270)

I'm up for it, although i am sure that Butter Tubs are pot-holes (caused by water erosion in limestone over geological periods of time, and not DoTR cost-cutting!).

Gotta get mi old maps out - it has been years since i drove around the North Yorkshire dales. The New Inn, at Chapel-le-Dale serves (served?) a wonderful pint of Theakstons!

... just bringing it back to the top ...

So, do any Northern/Yorkshire chap/chappesses fancy making the "Buttercups" a valid meet?

Lets face it, the Lancashire contingent have done a pretty good job recently, so you have to return the complement!
