Tesco Super unleaded (97 RON)
 

Just got this at my local store and was wondering if you has used it
yourselves.

Currently use BP Ultimate with no problems to mention of.

My local Tesco's have just got 97 ron and also has 1 pump with 99 ron.I have a feeling this is labeled wrong.
I do know they are trialing 99 in the SE (I am in the SW)but to have just 1 pump (out of about 16) with 99 is a bit odd?
I asked the attendants and got "Du?"

Well iv'e heard various views on BP Ultimate being crap (97RON)
I've heard various views on Sainsbury Super being very good (97RON)
Also ASDA super unleaded being good.

Different fuel can give different Knocklink activity.

So by asking wether Tesco Super is any good is not such a silly question, is it?:)

i have just checked my local tesco too after seeing that they replaced their lrp with super this week (tesco - gloucester, cattle market). I only checked one pump but it did not say anything barrig super unleaded BS EN 7800 - which is the BS code for 97 RON. I didnt know that tesco were stocking 97 ron though. Will have a proper scout around and see if they have any pumps labelled 99 ron. Anyone else have super which does not appear to be 99ron at their local tesco?
