is there any good free software for playin DVD's on a pc ?
 
I thought windows media player 10 would play normal dvd's, but it dont !!!

Any ideas/recommendations.

Also how do i go about "backing up " my dvd's ?

power dvd is good but i mostly use VLC player as ive starded getting HDTV films and its one of the only players that play TS file's, as for backing up dvd's just download dvdshrink. its free and does everything for you

What problems do you have stopping MP working?

it jus says lower display setteings, which i did, but made no difference...??
