Hurricane tracking sites !?!?!
 

My girlfriend is currently stranded in Cancun & I am worried as a hurricane is due to hit there tonight !

Does anyone know the best sites to check out whats happening ?

I am tracking ALL those sites !
I had a couple of texts from her at 6am out time (midnight hers) & she seemed fine !
It appears that the hurricane was just going over then !

She was going to try & get some sleep (there are 300 of them in the ball room so not an ideal situation but as long as she is safe there then thats the important thing !)

Hopefully I will hear from here in the next few hours & by then it should have passed !!!!

my folks were ten miles from the middle of the last one , jamaica - managed to tie boat up and get into a local home .....they were fine..!..boat was too..:eeeek:

Just heard from her & she is fine !

Sounds like the hotel & local area took a battering & they are therefore still "heldup" in the ball room !

Staff are currently checking the hotel & area Hopefully everyone else where is ok too !!!!

The sand from the beach is in the pool & all the palm trees have gone from round the pool & apparently the other ball room & restaurant have gone too ! So goodness knows how the people flying out tomorrow will cope !

Hopefully she will be back Wednesday night if the flight crew can get there by lear jet from the Dominican & The plane can get back to there from Gatwick !
