eh?

Marked up as 99.9 and charged 'almost exactly' 100.0..

If 99.9 isn't almost exactly 100.0 I'll eat my hat :D

Are Labour still going ahead with raising the tax on fuel next month?

Apparition 18 July 2005 06:17 PM

Riots on the way. If they do that, we may as well pack up and go.

kingofturds 18 July 2005 06:45 PM

oil prices dropped the other week from $60 to $55 a barrel so why havent petrolprices gone down:mad:

That's cheap!

What confuses me (amoungst many other things :D ) is that OPEC etc sell Oil three months or so in advance, so the Petrol we are using the now theorectically <sp?> should be based on the Oil price in March/April, so if the Oil price goes up tomorrow why should we see an instant rise at the pumps

John.

I just paid £88 for 25 litres :) (well I actually bought 75 litres in total.. so £3.52 per litre)

NO - they quietly announced that they were dropping that political hot potato last week......:luxhello:

Interesting that you say that, it seems to be the one thing that the French are good at! When oil prices went up when we were on hols, the petrol price went up however when it dropped, the petrol price immediately dropped (and it went back below the price it was originally at too).
well, you tend to notice when you put 2500 miles on the car!

Just done 3500 miles on a Trip from Sheffield to Denia (Spain) & Back in the scoob. I have to say the prices of 98 rated fuel in France was shocking. Always thought fuel was much cheaper there than in the UK! Fuel in spain is about the same price in Euros as it is in Sterling at the moment

Anyway, on topic. It seems like almost every time i go and fill up the price of optimax has risen by 1p. My local shell station is now at 96.9  .. correct me if im wrong but it doesn't seem all that long ago that optimax was selling for around 78p per litre :(

I think it might have something to do with oil and petrol companies making more money.

dmc1980 19 July 2005 03:29 PM

The maxol station up the road is selling Super for 99.9, the price went up by a penny three times in a week. What confuses me is that the Shell filling station is able to sell it for 93.9 and the BP for 95.9
